Description:
Several productions are offered each season at Oglethorpe University's state-of-the-art performing arts center. Musical entertainment on the lawn precedes each performance. Many attendees enjoy a picnic on the lawn while enjoying the works of the Bard. Sundays, in addition to the evening shows, also feature a 2pm show. The season kicks off in May with Shake at the Lake, a free Shakespeare series held in Piedmont Park.

Description:
Irish eyes are smiling and Irish pride runs high during Atlanta's St. Patrick's Day Celebration. One of the nation's oldest St. Pat's parades and parties, the event features a a full weekend of revelry, family festivals and, o'course, live Irish music. The parade kicks off on Saturday near Underground Atlanta, but the fun only gets started there. Visit the Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales at the Atlanta Zoo or stick around for Sunday's ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race at Atlantic Station (Guinness optional for lightweights).

Description:
This summer-long music festival brings in an outstanding array of talent each year, from blues great Clay Aiken to the B-52s to Diana Krall. The cozy confines of the Chastain Park Amphitheater grant a certain intimacy to each show, letting the crowds feel like the performers are playing just for them.
