Hey, I remember this place from way back in the early 80's. My friend Jim had just moved to Atlanta, and we went there late after a movie I think. Big, shiny expresso machine, mirrors, fantastic desserts, wine, great service. I was blown away, since this was long before the "coffee bar" thing took off nationwide, and we'd never seen anything like it in Lexington, KY, that's for sure. I guess it made a huge impression on me, because almost 20 years later, I haven't forgotten it! Laura Brackett |
