Description:
|
The Biglerville Historical and Preservation Society opened this museum in 1990 as a tribute to the founders of the area's apple industry. Exhibits in the restored mid-19th century barn include life-size replicas of a horse and farmer, widow-maker ladders, machinery, and an 1880's kitchen, along with displays of early deeds and warrants that were created on sheepskin. Delicious apple treats are served. Guided tours for groups are weekdays only throughout the year. Call one week prior to your desired date: 717-677-4556 or 717-677-0029. |
