Description:
The food is good here and the beer they brew is even better, but it’s the show that makes the place. It’s a unique mix of Thai and Western and a bit from who knows where. Bruce Gaston’s Fong Nam Band performs both Thai and Western music between skits from the raucous to the utterly bizarre. You can’t miss the place: there’s a three-storey-high barrel at the intersection of Narathiwat and Rama III roads; inside, the tables are German-brewhouse style. Good for a night out with friends, but take a taxi so you can enjoy the German beer and not worry about having to drive home.
